The last CORNERS Xpedition is organised by City Culture Institute, Gdansk.
Route
The gathering will take place in Ukraine (Lviv), from where we take off to the eastern parts of Poland (i.e. Sejny). Then we go further east and we plan to visit Lithuania (Klaipeda) and Russia (Kaliningrad). We will also explore the Kashubian culture (Poland). The end of the Xpedition and the sharing will take place in Gdańsk.
Exploring…
The East Xpedition is about differences in the regions and highlighting different views on “culture”. One of the main aims of the trip is to explore how culture changes the places we visit; we focus on borders and changes in the perception of culture as we travel.
In 2011 the organisers are developing links and identifying interesting places to visit.
