Dominic is an artist and curator whose practice involves project development through a hands-on, open approach to working with art & technology. He has a Doctorate from Sunderland University that examines the relationship between software production methods and collaborative methods employed by artists and curators. His recent activity includes developing the 404th.com an experimental, high concept participatory arts project that used web-streaming technologies to connect creative practitioners in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK with artists at ISEA Dubai. He has also been curating and project managing the digitalwarmemorial.com for the Society of Chief Librarians as well as curating a programme of digital arts activity for Queens Hall in Hexham, which recently culminated in the exhibition Land Engines, a survey of artists who use computer game engines. Previous to this he worked as the Curator of Digital Media Art developing and curating the Pixel Palace digital arts programme thepixelpalace.org.
